The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø educator preparationÌýprograms are approved on the national level through the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).ÌýWe are accredited on the state level by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) and regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC).ÌýÌýThe 2020 review and this accreditation covers the following initial teacher preparation programs: Elementary Education (1-6), Special Education in Mild/Moderate Cross-Categorical Disabilities (K-12), Secondary English (9-12),ÌýSecondary Mathematics (9-12), Secondary Physics (9-12), Secondary Chemistry (9-12), Secondary Biology (9-12), French (K-12), Secondary Business (9-12), Spanish (K-12), andÌýSecondary Social Science (9-12).

DESE
The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) requires a yearly report from all teacher education programs called the Annual Performance Report for Educator Preparation Programs (APR-EPP).
