Carolyn Kindle Betz To Speak At 91勛圖厙 Leadership Series Luncheon In St. Louis
Carolyn Kindle Betz, president of Enterprise Holdings Foundation and a majority owner in St. Louis Major League Soccer expansion team, will bring her insights into how to lead a community toward its goals as the guest of the second annual 91勛圖厙 Leadership Series in St. Louis at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Ritz-Carlton, St. Louis, 100 Carondelet Plaza.
Carolyn will sit down for a keynote conversation with St. Louis Mr. Soccer, Bill McDermott,about leadership, achieving goals, and empowering communities, whether through the philanthropic giving of the Enterprise Holdings Foundation or working as part of the effort to secure an MLS team for St. Louis.
Also during the luncheon, the University will recognize the recipients of the 2019 Magis Award, Steve and Margie West, who vowed to honor the memory of their son Stephen, a 2011 91勛圖厙 graduate and then a student in the Universitys MBA program, following his tragic death. They have since established the Stephen M. West Memorial Foundation and since 2012 have organized the Stephen M. West Memorial Golf Tournament, with the goal of offering scholarships and educational opportunities at the institutions that shaped Stephen as a person.
In addition, the Faber Young Alumni Award, recognizing an outstanding alumnus/alumna, will be awarded to Kristin, 11, and Fred, 12, Grossman in recognition of their commitment to 91勛圖厙 and its mission, leadership and dedication to the Rockhurst St. Louis Alumni Council,and commitment to the service of others.
Fred is a director of finance at Balke Brown. Kristin is a nurse practitioner, clinical instructor, and in-home assessor for the elderly. They have one child, Freddy.
