You’re studying all night and missed the dining hall hours. It happens to the best of us! Here are some easy meals you can make right from your dorm that aren’t just ramen.
It's almost hard to even think about: How do you learn to think?
Rockhurst students, alumni, faculty, and staff often talk about learning how to think – or how to think critically, differently, and/or always others' perspectives in mind.
But what does that mean?
College is an incredible time to follow and explore your passions. In college, you can study and learn about subjects that pique your interest, even if you are not required to complete them to graduate.
If you’re looking for a challenge and the opportunity to pursue personal interests in your classes, then Rockhurst’s Honors Program is for you.
There are so many resources that can help you begin making that long list of colleges you want to research, apply to, and visit. You have probably received postcards, emails, or other mailings from institutions that promote certain events, visit opportunities, or programs.
Write down the schools that look most interesting to you and hop on the following links to learn more about them.
Dorm rooms have two beds, two desks, a wall mirror, and two closet/dresser units. Students should bring linens for extra-long twin beds, lamps (non-halogen), area rugs, posters, towels, bathroom items, night lights, computer(s), electronic equipment, surge protector power strips, wastebaskets, and other items to create your home-away-from-home. You may bring your own small refrigerator and/or microwave for use in your room. Refrigerators must be no larger than 2.5 cubic feet or taller than 32 inches high. Check with your roommate so you don’t double-up on appliances. Additional furniture is allowed.
I wish I knew then that it was okay to go out of your way and make really good relationships with your teachers and ask lots of questions becauseÌýit will only help you in the future.
